The underlying aim of this advisory support ERDF aid scheme is to render the enterprises more efficient and/or more competitive and gain further credibility for their business operations.

This incentive seeks to part-finance costs incurred for external advisory services contracted to prepare the enterprise for and successfully achieve a recognised Standard or Award.

Maximum grant: €15,000 – €20,000

Eligible Beneficiaries: Small-Medium Enterprises.

Eligible Action: Advisory leading up to the certification of a Standard or Award (such standard or award is a requirement to be eligible to claim).

Internationalisation Strategy for SMEs

The underlying aim of this advisory support ERDF aid scheme is to render the enterprises more efficient and/or more competitive and gain further credibility for their business operations. This incentive seeks to part-finance costs incurred for external services contracted to provide an Internationalisation Strategy.

Maximum grant: €20,000

Eligible Beneficiaries are Small-Medium Enterprises.

Eligible Action: Internationalisation Strategy.

Marketing Strategy for Micro and Small Enterprises

The underlying aim of this advisory support ERDF aid scheme is to render the enterprises more efficient and/or more competitive and gain further credibility for their business operations. This incentive seeks to part-finance costs incurred for external services contracted to provide a Marketing Strategy.

Maximum grant: €10,000

Eligible Beneficiaries are Micro and Small Enterprises.

Eligible Action: Marketing Strategy.

Digitalise your SME

Enterprises in Europe no longer compete just with their neighbours or even other firms in their country but with all competitors on the global marketplace. It is necessary to always be on top of the latest technologies to provide the best products and to deliver the most rewarding services. Digitalisation investment is needed to achieve such goal. The capability of an enterprise to digitalise by addressing new digital capabilities and digitalised processes is crucial for survival and future business growth. Digitalization opens up new economic opportunities. In addition, digital technologies enable new business models, intelligent work and production processes, more effective customer acquisition and better networking.

This incentive seeks to assist SMEs through non-repayable Grants to part-finance investment to digitalise their operations, and hence improve their resilience, efficiency, productivity and customer experience by addressing new digital capabilities and digitalised processes such as product and process design and engineering, end-to-end procurement, supply chain/distribution and after sales.

Budget: €5,000,000

Eligible Beneficiaries are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

SME Enhance

Business success is dependent on the ability of the enterprise to focus investment on expansion, diversification, innovation of the operations, as well as on initial investments. This incentive shall seek to support Undertakings through non-repayable Grants to part-finance investment in relation to the activities outlined and aimed at potentially improving the productivity of the enterprise.

Budget: €6,000,000

Eligible Beneficiaries are Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.

RDI Schemes

The Measures and Support Division encourages interested applicants for R D I activities to submit a Concept Note to provide details on the planned project idea, its risks and impacts, readiness and other information as outlined in the Concept Note Overview. The Concept Note is to be sent by email to [email protected] at any time.

The scheme is open to Enterprises.

Business Reports for SMEs

This Grant Scheme seeks to support SMEs through the provision of non-repayable Grants in the form of a lump sum to part-finance a business report procured from external Consultancy Service Providers which are registered with the IB and which are autonomous and unrelated to the Beneficiary Undertaking. External consultancy services shall be procured to support the decision-taking process, by providing:

– Process and Systems Review aimed at rendering the Undertaking potentially more efficient; or

– Business Plan addressing the proposed investment initiatives, aimed at rendering the Undertaking potentially more competitive.

Grant Value is set at a lump sum of €4,000 (Representing an aid intensity of 80% of the eligible costs). Eligible Beneficiaries are Small-Medium Enterprises.
